BLOOD DONATION-A PURSUIT OF GREAT CAUSE FOR RECIPIENT AND THE DONOR: Donating blood is of great cause not only to the recipient but also to the donor as well. It provides several physical, mental and psychological health benefits to both of them. It basically, highlights the basic human values like philanthropy, devotion, respect, empathy and kindness. SITUATION IN PAKISTAN- PRIVATE AND PUBLIC BLOOD BANKS: Currently, Pakistan is creating more awareness among people regarding the significance of donation of blood. In a research, over 150 public and 450 private blood banks are working nationwide.
